Hard to help. Both boxes need to be powered on and connected together with the fiber cable. Niether box will power up unless the cable is connected to both boxes.

They know what they are doing and they take the time to go over all the settings (and there is many choices you can make) You have many personalized choices, connection to the net, neat tricks they will show you. I love this 4K TV. Movies are super clear and with 240 refresh no blur at all. I could go on and on, I only say that Geek Squad is tops and worth every penny.
