Butch, this model does have the HDR feature. ^Heath
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This TV does NOT have HDR. It has "HDR+" which is Samsung's setting to add HDR "effect" to some content. No Samsung 6 series TV has true HDR.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you look in the specs of this tv it states HDR - NO so be careful with Heaths answer that it does
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.https://www.samsung.com/us/televisions-home-theater/tvs/4k-uhd-tvs/55--class-mu6290-4k-uhd-tv-un55mu6290fxza/#specs It has HDR Pro, 2nd best HDR that Samsung comes out with.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.CR states that the HDR on this model, and indeed the MU6 series, had only limited effectiveness due to the fact that the TV does not support the more expansive brightness levels for HDR. See http://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/samsung/mu6300 for details and http://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/samsung for the Sumsung line up.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Check the model number and Samsung and you will find this does have. HDR.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have this model right now and yes it DOES have HDR in fact. It has what Samsung calls HDMI UHD which is their own way of saying HDR. You turn that off and games and movies don't get the special treatment. Turn it on and HDR galore. It even has HDR+MODE to brighten things up depending on the source and what youre watching.
