A:AnswerDon't mean to imply anything, but are you sure that the batteries are in correctly and that the remote is set to the t.v. or cable box? Also you want to make sure that the t.v. infra red detector isn't blocked by anything, such as a sound bar.
A:AnswerI only use my set in the USA. However, you can use a converter which only cost about 10 dollars. I suggest contacting Samsung directly or google for your answer. It is a great TV with an amazing picture!
