The legs are nine and three quarters inches wide front to back.

Please try again later.ok so your product info says tv is 9.8 in deep with the stand and the tv is 2.3 in deep without the stand. so if i take the 9.8 total depth, subtract the 2.3 in depth of the tv without the stand it equals 7.5 in divided by 2 that comes out to 3.75 in of the stand on both the front and rear ( if the tv is centered on the stand?) so i don't understand why i would need a min of 15 in wide surface for the stand to sit on ? I am hoping this tv will fit on top of my 12 in wide mantle? i have 5 in depth for the back stand and 7 in for the front of the stand. Thanks
