Yes it will fit with a little room to spare the distance on the bottom is 48” the legs are set in approximately 6” on each side about 36” between them. I have my set wall mounted so I do not use the legs I really like this unit. I have the 55” screen. I like the voice remote. The picture quality is awesome.
