“How wide is the 55 inch tv my book case is 46 inches wide”

The 55" tv is 48 1/2 inches wide. I just fit our tv stand. We ran into a problem when we wanted to angle the tv, but keep the stand flush to the wall. Due to the inverted Y "feet" that hold the tv, angling it sends part of the "feet" over the edge. We were only able to angle it slightly.
