A:AnswerHi there, you sure can, click the Settings icon in the main menu, look for Support, then scroll down to Terms & Policies. There, you’ll see Voice Recognition Services. Turning off Voice Recognition Services stops the TV from collecting voice data, such as the searches you make, the apps you use, and the websites you go to. But there's a trade-off: You won't be able to perform searches or control the TV using voice commands. -Scott
A:AnswerHello Retiredteacher,
The 55Q60T has an Ethernet port where you can hard wire the TV to your Modem. If you are looking for a wireless solution, you will have to get a router either from you service provider or Best Buy. Yes you can watch TV without a television provider via streaming services. Please visit Best Buy for Routers. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/searchpage.jsp?st=wifi+routers&_dyncharset=UTF-8&_dynSessConf=&id=pcat17071&type=page&sc=Global&cp=1&nrp=&sp=&qp=&list=n&af=true&iht=y&usc=All+Categories&ks=960&keys=keys

A:AnswerRYRY, you can absolutely connect the Q60T to a speaker as long as your speaker is Bluetooth enabled. Refer to your speaker's user manual for how to pair. Once paired to the TV, press HOME on the Q60T remote. Then go to Settings > Sound > Sound Output > Bluetooth Speaker List. Choose the speaker you wish to use for sound output. ^Gina
A:AnswerHi Jewel, The Q60T features Ambient Mode which includes My Gallery to show your pictures on the screen while not in use, Artwork mode allows you to show famous artwork and photography to use as your background, and Music Wall pulses to the music you are playing through the TV. Having said that, it is different from The Frame in several ways. The Frame is designed to look like a painting when not in use, not a TV showing an image of a painting. It also has the ability to accept different color bezels which no other Samsung can. It also has access to the Art Store to download over a thousand different pieces of art, etc. I hope this answer helped, thanks! ^Scott
A:AnswerI've had mine over a year, and I don't remember it having a film type screen protector when it was unpackaged. I wasn't aware that they even did that for a TV.
A:AnswerA cold boot will shut the TV down and reboots it, like restarting a laptop. This can solve issues you may be having with apps, glitches in the menu, picture issues, etc.
- There are two ways to cold boot your TV:
- With the Remote: For most people, the easiest way is to hold down the Power button on the Samsung TV remote until the TV turns off and on again. This should only take about 5 seconds.
- With the Plug: If you do not have the remote, unplug your TV from the wall outlet or surge protector, leave it unplugged for 30 seconds, and then plug it back in.
*Note: If you switch off a surge protector with other devices plugged into it (such as your router), give them time to power up and reconnect before testing any functions on your TV. ^Gina
A:AnswerHi GH67! When watching any channel within the YouTube TV app, press the "back" button on your remote, and select "live" towards the top of the screen. This should show you the guide for your YouTube TV channels. ^Gina
A:AnswerHi laramie01! Samsung's Q60T is an awesome TV for Sling TV streaming! You can download the Sling TV app from your TV's built-in App Store. ^Gina
A:AnswerHi Retiredteacher! We recommend using an Internet package with at least 25Mbps; however, increasing your speeds will provide you with a quicker response time if desired. If you are setting up cable from a provider such as Dish, we recommend checking with your cable provider for what features best fit your needs. ^Gina
A:AnswerNo but you can use an Ultra Roku remote to turn the TV off and on. You can also download the Samsung app and use your phone as a remote for back up in case you misplace your remote.
