If it's just a few seconds it could literally be static although that should not happen if it's grounded right. If the sounds comes from the speakers that means electricity is still being released in the audio circuits and that is also not right. If the sound comes from the back of the TV, where it might be coming from the circuit boards inside, that would be kinda scary I'd think. Anyway if a Google search does not find other people with information I'd think about warranty service or a return.
