• Hi Bowfront, All HDMI ports on the QN90A will be backwards compatible to support non next-generation devices. If in the future you change devices to something that needs a feature of HDMI 2.1 such as 4K@120 (FRL) your device as well as the cable would need to be capable. ^Val
