“2 questions 1. Have older home theater system by Sony built into walls which I believe uses an audio port on the back of the tv. Can this be used with this tv? 2. Is this tv ready to go out of the box or do I need to get someone in to calibrate it?”

This TV has an audio port as well as S video port. And the TV is ready to go when you get it, other than attaching the stand or mounting to the wall
