I have not experienced this. I have experienced the upper in operation increases the resting temp of the lower meaning that 400 on top will cause the lower to raise to between 180 and 210 if it is off. However that is expected because it is still one oven with two chambers vs two separate ovens.

Hello STLTAB! I'd like to provide some clarification. There are some limitations to the differences in temperatures you can use when using both oven simultaneously. Beginning on page 25 of the user manual (https://bit.ly/3pijy2D) you can find helpful guides with the minimum and maximum temperatures for each setting. ^Jecca
