“Does this range have a built in downdraft meaning I don't need an overhead venting system or a periscoping venting system? If it does, where does venting come out of the back of the range? Also, does this come in propane availability? Thank you”

Great questions, Dawn! First, to help with these, I'm providing this link (https://bit.ly/3BVYdlW) to the user manual for this model. Page 16 shows a diagram of where the oven vents are located. This model also comes with an LP (liquid propane) conversion kit. Samsung does recommend using a licensed professional to perform the conversion. ^Jecca
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This oven/range does self-vent out of the back of the top of the range. The vent automatically runs for about 5-10 minutes after the oven is turned off. It is EXTREMELY efficient at cooling quickly as well as heating up quickly. Preheating takes roughly 2-3 minutes for 400 degrees (my old GE took almost 10 minutes). I am not sure about propane availability, although I know there are conversation kits available for grilles, so I bet there are some for ranges as well.
