What are the knobs made of? null

MetAl. Easy to clean and remove

I have a Bosch stove and the handles are made of the same thing that the Samsung has I had to store for three years and the handles are all peeling. They look terrible. I'm buying the new Samsung 67. I hope the handles don't get all nasty like my old ones did . I hope they're more stronger.
