The broiler is inside the top oven with high or low settings.

Smart Freestanding Gas Range with Flex Duo™, Stainless Cooktop & Air Fry broiler option. Regarding your concern, broiling uses the oven broil burner at the top of the oven to cook brown food. Meat or fish must be put on a broiling grid in a broiling pan. Preheating for 5 minutes before broiling is recommended. Here is a copy of the user manual for further assistance.
