• It is a seperate purchase based on your receptacle. I have the 4 wire and it works great!

• Home Depot installers Cary both plugs in their delivery truck. I believe the cord is additional and purchased and wired by whomever installs the unit. If you install, you hardwire. Probably 10 minute job.
