Does this range work well with cast iron pans ? null

Yes, this (or any) induction range will work with cast iron. This range has a test mode to tell you whether a particular pot or pan will work. (I'll note that sometimes I've had to try the test a couple of times, but it's a helpful indication.) I've only recently installed this range and haven't used cast iron myself (other than to test). One caution I might offer is that some traditional cast iron cookware can have a rough surface so I would be careful to lift and not slide these pans when cooking.
