No, there are no visible lights when using the cooktop. Since this is induction, the only time that the burner is active is when there is a pan on the burner, so the only indication that the stovetop is working (outside of the pan getting hot) is a little display, in the middle of the burners, that shows what number setting the respective burner is on, or if the surface is hot. It's been a great range overall though!
