I have a dirctv mini set up in the bedroom and everything that you watch on the primary tv can be watched on secondary tv, no extra cables, but you need the directv remote to control your viewing capabilities.

The television is RVU-Compliant, which means that it's designed to work with the Genie system. DirecTV would be better able to answer your specific questions based on your home configuration.
