Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.In the US, a three-prong plug is used to provide a ground to the electrical appliance. Using a 3-prong to 2-prong adapter which "lifts" the ground is not a good idea as this may cause damage to sensitive electronic equipment and may also create an electrical hazard. I highly recommend that you have a licensed electrician install a properly grounded three-prong outlet for your entertainment center.
