“Is this TV Direct TV RVU Ready or will I need a Genie Mini to watch Direct TV?”

• As far as I know, yes it is RVU ready but you need a HR54 receiver in the house to get 4k Directv channels whenyou use the DTV ready TV

• You don't need a Genie mini... unless you want 4K resolution. There is so little 4K programming that paying extra for the Genie unit is a waste of money, at this time. My Directv looks just fine and the picture resolution is second to none. see pic attached.
