All you need a high speed HDMI cable, commonly known as HDMI 2.0. You can get them with or without ethernet built in. I purchased the Monster Platinum cable and it works well. The connecters are a tight fit so it will require some wiggling to get the connector in.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi. The Hdmi cables I have used for mine is a 10 dollar GE or Vizio brand that is compatible for UHD. You really don't need an expensive Hdmi. If you're directv cable box is HD, then 1080p is the highest you can go.. But you need to make sure you're on a HD channel. Supposedly they are looking to have 4k channels but who knows when that will happen. For now, you can view 4k and HDR on Netflix, Amazon video and I think Hulu.
