I would say yes. But give it a try....double check weight of both TVs....I think the 65 is bigger than you may think. I had a 50 before the 65....and I consider it to be huge. Thanks No new cables but the mount...maybe

Please try again later.Yes you will definitely need to cables because it is a 4K tv and to really get to see the contrast and the 4K upscaling you need 4K hdmi cables to be able to handle the feed that's coming in to it. And you may not need a new mount, it just depends on the screws are in the similar place on the brackets as the tv
