“when i connect my macbook pro (2015) to this tv with HDMI, i only get my macbook background/wallpaper. the same HDMI and macbook pro used to connect to another samsung tv (6 series) without any difficulties. need solution for issue asap. please help.”

You have to go into your settings on your Mac. Than go to display settings. In there you can chose how you want the tv monitor to work. Either as a ‘mirrored display’ or ‘extended display’. You can also choose to make it the main display or secondary.
