• Hi Howce! The TV has built in speakers. A soundbar is an external device purchased separate to improve the audio quality and viewing experience. ^Tim

• it has good sound, but a sound bar is a extra external speaker , mine sits infront of my tv, and you get a really good sound all around you with one, they are very easy to set up, just watch youtube\
