Um, Samsung? You answered this question, right? Well you may have noticed in the question I said we are using a soundbar. Your answer is incorrect, as when using a soundbar the settings you advised adjusting, the 'Auto Volume' function, is not usable. It is only for the speakers in the TV. Disappointed that you did not know this. What other errors are you making in you responses?! Anyway, do you have any other ideas on why this is happening? I don't mind the lowered audio on commercials. It is just inconsistent. Say a commercial break has 6 spots. Three will have lowered audio levels and the others won't. What the heck?!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi LansingMike, Please check the Auto Volume Setting to see if it is enabled. The Auto Volume function automatically adjusts the sound to a certain level when changing channels or switching to another external input. Go to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Expert Settings > Auto Volume. You may also want to perform a Sound Test under Support > Self Diagnosis > Start Sound Test. ~Samsung Advisor
