I had the same question. I bought it and it is a great TV. The quality at home is the same high quality as you see in the stores. However, the default when you open the box is the Eco mode. Decent picture, but lacks the pop and the audio was a bit low. You need to go into the settings and select the dynamic mode to get the showroom quality picture and the audio settings to select a mode with amplification. I am yet to read the instructions, so it is fairly user friendly (but take that with a grain of salt as I hardly ever read the instructions).

I had the 70 inch version of this for over a year now and have loved it. Awesome picture and features. Just picked up this 65 inch for $750 with the cyber Monday sale and feel even better about it. I would recommend this to anyone if you're looking for a quality big screen that has 4k capabilities. There's not a lot of true 4k content available anyways from cable providers so even the super high end TV's aren't being used to their true capabilities, and they'll probably be outdated in 2 years. That's why I usually recommend to find a good deal on a quality entry level 4k since you'll probably upgrade in a couple years. TV's now days don't hold their value, they're basically like the cell phone market. Every year there's a new features that you'll want to have. This TV will do the trick though and for a around $1000 it's a good deal.
