Yes. This tv does have HDR Pro. The TV is able to receive the HDR10 signal. But HDR Pro is not true HDR. This tv does not have the wide color gamut nor the brightness capabilities for true HDR. So, you should be able to notice a difference, but it will not be as profound as it is on tvs with true HDR. Think of it like imitation HDR.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. To the guy that compared the HDR on this tv to HDR on an OLED: Well yeah, OLED basically blows away the features of pretty much any LCD TV, so if you can afford OLED, go with that. But then, if you could I doubt seriously you would even be looking at this tv. Even OLED isn't completely capable of showing the colors needed for 100% HDR. Nonetheless, what I said is correct, the HDR Pro on this tv is limited compared to tvs made with HDR in mind, with a wide color gamut and made to display the needed brightness.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. But Spencer I'm confused, because this is an LED not LCD?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. To the guy who said it’s imitation HDR- Well if you want to talk about “True HDR” then talking about HDR on an LCD panel is irrelevant anyways. LCD’s dont have near the color gamut capabillities that OLED panels do. LCD TVs are all limited in the scope of their contrast because their pixels can’t turn off individually to display the color black.
