• Outside dimensions of the box are as follows> Length is 63 1/2 inches Height is 38 inches Depth is 8 1/2 inches I transported my TV in a SUV with no problems. Hope this helps

• It cannot be laying flat on the front or back as the screen could crack. You can either stand it upright or lean it back but not so much that it's close to laying down.
