• I have mine plugged into the samsung connection box that comes with the tv. You can plug in anything into the one small box and it has one cable that connects to the back of the set. Works fine with my samsung sound bar. Don't think separate connection is on back of tv.

• The optical port is on the Samsung One Connect device that comes with the tv. The tv only has one connector and that is for the One Connect wire.
