• No I like it down in the hatchback, it you stand it up it could fall over. Laying it flat will not hurt it unless you leave it like that for days.

• I’ve always heard you should only transport them(like in a vehicle) upright. Supposedly if you lay it down flat, the shock from things like pot holes is more likely to crack the panel.
