I have no idea what the mounting pattern is. I bought the tv as an anniversary gift for my daughter and son-in-law. Sorry can't be more helpful regarding inquiry but I can tell you that, although they had to purchase a bigger stand to accommodate the size (they had a 50-inch), they were both surprised and very much delighted with this year's anniversary gift!
