“How can I securely hang on wall when bottom screw holes are extra wide and deep? Top arnt half as bad, and instructions say I need all 4 of the same screw. Is the same size screws I use on the bottom safe for the top?”

First is the mounting platform designed for your TV? 200x200 or 400x400. Secondly screw size refers to diameter of screw not length, make sure all screw/bolts tightly secure your TV to the mounting bracket. There should be standoffs included with your TV to keep it away from the mounting bracket, these will insure screw lengths are uniform as well as size diameter determined by the TV manufacturer. You want the screws to engage completey with the threads but not go much deeper. If you feel any resistance threading the screw in, stop and be sure you're not punching into the tv's internals. Samsung provides a variety of different screw lenghts and spacers for wall mount attachment. They of course cant plan for every possible moint configuration and sometimes the screws provided arent what you need.
