The quality of the upscaling depends on the channel and program. I have Xfinity. Some of the cable channels look close to 4k but others look worse than on my 55" Vizio 1080i TV. The quality of the picture also depends on the particular program. I have found that news programs and some other shows look great but movies can be good or not so good. I have the upgraded Netflix and some of their programs look spectacular. Overall, I am reasonably satisfied with the upscaling but it is not quite as spectacular as I had hoped.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the same situation with a cable feed that runs primarily 2K 1080p. I have had this TV for a few weeks now and have been very impressed with the picture quality. I think that the processor is doing a good job of upscaling the 2K to a 4K presentation.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The upscaling is excellent. I’m quite sure you’ll never realize a better picture on any TV. 4K quality? Without a doubt, the highest level. Especially when connected to Xfinity X1 HD cable box with voice remote. Even the least tech savvy viewer will be very pleased to set up this level home entertainment center. ENJOY!
