“How do you prevent the screen from dimming on its own when playing HDR content. I've set the local dimming to low and the contrast enhancer to off but it still dims. Eco Sensor is off as well.”

You have to turn off intelligent mode. That's why it does it. Though I keep mine in and I don't really have HDR dimming issues since I watch it in dark
