“Is there anyway to watch movies from streaming services in full screen instead of widescreen. The black bars easily take like 25% of the picture size away. It’s like I’d need a 75 inch tv to watch as a 65 inch.”

go to your settings and change the aspect ratio. it will stretch the picture to fill the screen but you might not like it.
