“My geek guys hooked up my receiver and rear speakers which I appreciate but they said it didn't work and to get a sound bar. Later yesterday, the speakers worked but TV sound did not. Now If I turn off the receiver I get no sound. Please help”

My 5 year old samsung Q 80 can use the sound bar with or without the internal speakers
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.My understanding is that you can either use internal TV sound or an external sound source, but not both at the same time. I believe I remember seeing a sound setting in the TV settings that tell the TV which sound source that you want to use. I would suggest that you verify which sound source it is set to.
