Hello b78772, You should be able to depending on your remotes capabilities, programming might be required. ^Cristian

I have Dish network. I hooked the HDMI cable from the ARC input on the tv and ARC output on the sound bar, then I connected another HDMI cable from the sound bar input to the HDMI output on the Dish receiver. I set the Dish for the Samsung tv. When I hit the power button on the Dish remote the Dish box, tv and sound bar all come on.
