I am getting info from rings.com and the panel on the 77' model of the s90c is definitely a second generation panel where as the 55' and 65' models have mixed 1st and 2nd generation qd OLED panels. A Samsung rep named Shirad (?) said 2nd Gen is better? null

Their own reps would know better than best buy and others . It's not gonna be a big difference in quality when it comes to OLED. It's one thing to search for specs between models that differ but caring about the gen of panels is overkill and unnecessary. It will look good regardless of which one.

Read review elsewhere that said only the 80+" class of the S90C still have the 1st Gen screens.
