The cable is not in-wall rated and since it caries power it is thought to be a potential fire hazard. There are several ways around this. One is the very expensive in-wall rated cable, another is an in-wall rated conduit. You can either cut a hole in the wall behind it and install a box for the controller box (pita to add hdmi or usb accessories) or just run the thin clear cable outside the tv.
