• Mine opens up from the left hand side. That's how it arrived.

• Yes, this dryer can have the door open from either the left or the right. When it's being delivered the technicians can do this. Otherwise, there are a lot of tiny screws to swap sides. I had mine delivered and the technical swapped the door from the right to the left for me in about 15 minutes.
