Can this unit be vented on the right side? I have a confined space and I need a dryer that can be vented on the right side. Your specs suggested that it can be vented on the right, but I one of the sales staff that I spoke to stated that it can't be.

I installed this dryer last month and there is only rear venting as an option.

Thanks for your interest. The DV405GTPASU and other Samsung gas dryers can be vented through the back, or through the bottom or left side with the addition of the DV-1A vent kit. It cannot be vented through the right side because of the location of the gas valve. The electric dryers, however, can be vented in any of the four directions. - Ms. Samsung
