“I am replacing an old electric dryer which didn't have steam function. Would it be easy to connect the water hose required fo this dryer on to the water hose that is currently being used for the washer. hoping a plumber isn't required.”

Yes it has a y hook up
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It won’t require a plumber, just plumber’s tape. But you’ll need an extra hose to come off of the y-connector hose they provide. You might need an electrician to hook up your plug. Those are sold separately and Geek Squad won’t repurpose your old one.
