Yes it needs a hose. No it does not come with it. It does come with the "Y" connector though. I was disappointed about no hose that but bought a nice stainless steel weave for about $14 at Home Depot.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It comes with a very short hose and a Y adapter. There's no way this would ever reach your average US laundry faucets. I'd say the opening to the dryer steam hose entry is about 4 feet from the hot/cold water faucets in my laundry room. There's nothing unusual in the placement of our faucets either. Every single house I've ever lived in had the faucets at the same general location. Can't figure out how we're supposed to hook up the steam function on the dryer with what's provided. I believe it will require purchasing a separate hose and using the Y adapter. The 8 inch piece of hose that comes with it is useless.
