To be clear the manual says an M8 screw. It says the length of the part that goes into the TV (NOT the whole screw) should be 20mm to 22mm. So the screw itself needs to be longer to accommodate the bracket being used, as well as any applicable spacers and washers. My washer and bracket were about 4mm, so I used a 25mm screw. 25mm minus 4mm equals 21mm, which falls in the range of 20mm to 22mm that is listed in the manual. Hope that helps!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the same problem. The size listed in the Quick Setup Guide is a 20-22mm M8 bolt (threading of 1.25mm). Make sure there is no taper at the end—the threads need to go all the way to the bottom of the bolt because there’s very little threading inside the TV. (Not a very friendly engineering choice).

I had to use 25mm screws with a second washer to snug everything tight. Samsung engineers dropped the ball on this one. With the threading so shallow inside the TV, only a perfect length works and their recommendations did not.
