I'd say yes buy the larger one it looks better with the larger tv & the sound is incredible
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it is worth it. 8 speakers versus 6 gives better sound separation and quality. I think the watts are higher on 8.1 too which means more power to each speaker for better output. Some 4K movies will not support the 6.1 and will not give you the best sound in Dolby. Talk it over with an audio expert that can give more technical details on my statement's.
