Will this tv fit on a stand 49 inches wide null

Yes it will, the base is small enough to fit well. The screen itself will dwarf the base though.

I replaced a 50" with this 75". My stand is 48" wide. I purchased a piece of 1/2" plywood, 60" long by 16" wide and laid it across the stand. Works fantastic!

I won’t recommend putting it on a 49 tv stand. I have a 60+ tv stand and fits just right. I think with a tv this big. It’s always safe to put it on a wider tv stand than the tv itself.
