• Yes on both. If you use the automatic setting you might notice glare if there is a window behind you, but you can set the tv to bright mode and it’s fine. On the viewing angle, you can still see the screen great from the sides. We have a couch directly in front with chairs at each end making a big rectangle with the tv and furniture. The picture looks just as good from the chairs as it does from the couch
