Each one as the series goes up is more standard options, higher picture quality, sound quality. I bought the 8 series 75 inch and the picture color and overall quality of what you are watching is very visible if you watch them side by side which I did. Obviously you pay more for an 8 than a 6 or 7 but at the end of the day try see them side by side and choose what works for you.
