“We currently have the Samsung UN65H7100 (65”) and it is mounted on the wall. Will we need a new wall mount for this TV or can we use the same one? I’m pretty sure it can handle the weight—it was used to hang a 58” plasma.”

We also had a UN65H and replaced it with this tv. It is substantially larger and the weight difference is such that we didn't want to risk the current wall mount not being able to handle it. Also consider the location and your need to tilt or angle the tv because of the size. We are no longer able to "swivel" the tv at an angle but because of the size it is not an issue (we have open living space - lr/kitchen). It is an outstanding product

THE MOUNT YOU SHOULD HANG THIS TV ON NEEDS TO HOLD UP TO 90 LBS. WE HAD TO BUY ONE AND IT WORKS GREAT, SINCE THIS TV IS ABOUT 77 LBS.
