Any time you put any sort of cable in wall, it should be rated for in-wall use (i.e. not flammable such that it helps the spread of a fire). To my knowledge there are no one connect cables that are rated for in-wall. The common solution is to run HDMI through the wall and attach the one connect box to the back of the TV. This limits the utility of all the various inputs in the one connect box, but the alternative is to run the cone connect wire (which isn't that long) in an out-of-wall plastic conduit which is an eye-sore. My plan is to run the HDMI in wall and add things like chromecast or fire stick that can attach to the one connect and still be hidden behind the TV
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No aside from connecting to a cable or direct TV box to the tv, the cable wire goes into the cable box and use a quality hdmi to connect the tv to the cable box. No other cable wire.
